The vast differences in crops, soils, farming practices and climatic conditions worldwide, coupled with regional differences in the availability of water and energy resources has resulted in a diverse array of center pivot sprinkler requirements. Nelson Irrigation has created a full line of quality products that are used from Pivot Point to End Gun. At the Pivot Point, Nelson 800 Series Control Valves are used to optimize water control. Nelson's 3000 Series Family, made up of the R3000 Rotator™, D3000 Sprayhead, S3000 Spinner, A3000 Accelerator, T3000 Trash buster, and N3000 Nutator has been developed for use on the span of the pivot. A unique modular design allows a grower to optimize a sprinkler package for specific needs without incurring the cost and inconvenience of a complete new sprinkler package. Many of the components are common to all the possible sprinkler configurations. A special feature at the heart of the 3000 Series is a unique quick-change, easily identifiable nozzle, which now allows flowrate changes to be easily made in the field. A Nelson Big Gun Sprinkler placed at the end of the pivot span is an easy way to irrigate more land for very little cost.
