For solid set Big Gun® systems the uniformity can be improved by using a secondary nozzle. The secondary nozzle is especially beneficial when sprinklers are spaced further apart than head-to-head. The nozzle should be sized to deliver approximately 10% of the primary nozzle flow rate.
- F75/F100: A 7/32" 3RN nozzle is most common
- SR100: Use secondary nozzle kit #9724, which includes 7/32" 3RN nozzle and elbow
- SR150: Use secondary nozzle kit #12686, which includes 5/16" 7RN nozzle and elbow
- F150: A 5/16" 7RN nozzle is most common
