The cell modem is fully managed by Nelson Irrigation with added service and support from OptConnect, a global cellular solutions provider. It features a reliable dual carrier eSIM that automatically switches between Verizon and AT&T networks in the USA and Canada, with AT&T coverage in Mexico. Built for industrial applications, the modem includes a durable aluminum case with an extended temperature range and is housed in a weather-resistant enclosure. Utilizing future-ready 4G/5G LTE CAT M1 technology, the kit (#14159) comes complete with an enclosure, antenna, ethernet cable, and 110V power adapter, with an optional DC power supply (#14222) available for solar-powered systems.
